“Great food - great value, Moroccan gem in Avignon”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

The food here was absolutely delicious / authentic and a refreshing change from the typical French menus (which are also good of course.) The service was a little slow as there was only one server for the entire restaurant but he was very pleasant. Worth the wait and highly recommended!

“When you are tired of French food...”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

When you are tired of French food this is a great option. Many choices of kuskus & tagins, and good atmosphere. The service was weird (to say the least), up yo impolite, but may be it is a mentality difference.

“Excellent couscous in relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

...this is a great break if you want something else but French food without entering the fast food area. Very warm service and hospitality. not fancy and hot even late at night, but the vegetables with the couscous were simply delicious. of course the wine menue is very limited, but not bad at all. I haven't been to Marocco but imagine the food to be just like that. the home cooked food touch is very pleasant. the place was completely occupied - a good sign.

“Excellent food and very attentive service”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

During the festival Avignon is full of people and extremely busy: this restaurant stays friendly and continues to offer excellent quality for reasonable prices. The tagines are excellent -finish your meal with their fabulous tea!

“Excellent alternative to the French haute cuisine”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

After 1 week of lunches and dinners in expensive Michelin starred French restaurants, we were ready for more exotic simple fare. Exotic this was, simple it was not. Delicious it certainly was! We ordered a la carte. 2 Delicious salad starters and 1 merguez and 1 lamb couscous with veggies. With a bottle of moroccan rose and a oriental dessert selection with mint tea, it was the perfect meal before a late show at the Avignon festival. And it only cost us 60 euros!
