We visited in January and although an area of boardwalks and nature trails was supposed to be open it was closed. Otherwise, even in winter this was a great, wild place with swimming, chattering flamingoes and lots of easy hiking.

Well worth a horse-back ride through the area. Two hours by horse is a great way to see the nature, beach, etc. Even pink flamingos in the wild!

I went to the park to see the flamingos and was not disappointed. There were plenty of the birds in ponds a short walk from the entrance. More information in English would have been helpful - or even a basic information sheet. In teh main it was all fairly obvious!

We were there in mid Oct and still saw plenty of the white camargue horses as well as numerous flamingos. I was reluctant to initially go but was plesantly surprised by all the wildlife we saw.

we stopped in the fee for admission bird park and were there so long we had little time for what else we wanted to do.. saw tons of flamingos, herons, egrets and other birds. vistas to the water with some white horses there along the water's edge were just superb.. it was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would say it was one of the highlights of my stay in Arles.
