I enjoyed my stay at Mas de la Feniere. Its a very lovely hotel, and a great place to stay while exploring Nimes/Arles. If you enjoy picturesque countryside, this hotel will delight you. We also ate dinner there one night, and although it is a bit pricey, its worth it, the food was really good.

On the downside, our bathroom wasn't spectacularly clean. I am not saying it was dirty at all, just some hairs in the tub and spots here and there. I am not overly picky so it didn't bother me, but I know some people wouldn't be ok with that. But, don't let it deter you from staying here, the staff is nice and I am sure if I had complained, they would have helped me!

What an adorable, quaint home-like hotel in the country! Really enjoyed the no-nonsense attitude of the owners/managers. Straight-up and very refreshing! Go! Enjoy!

It's really surprised us , hiding beside the road and out of noise.
Specially the delicious food there, it's really amazing.

We could not have been happier with our stay here. I'm bewildered by some of the comments below (especially the lady whose husband was scolded for being a litterbug). The staff was exceptionally friendly, the hotel is clean and well-managed, the rooms are cozy and comfortable... I can't say enough good things about this place.

We picked it a few weeks before our trip, after finding that the places inside the city were booked, but it was the perfect choice. All our other destinations were in urban settings, so this was a nice little rest from the hectic pace. Ignore the negative reviews (unless you're the kind of person who gets their feathers ruffled because someone's not following you around tending to your every need). Actually, part of the reason we picked it was the manager's, uh, lively responses to negative reviews! We kind of wanted to judge for ourselves, and we'd certainly return.

Note: the free WiFi can be a little iffy for the rooms at the far end of the hotel, but the bar/lounge is a comfy place to settle down with your laptop or tablet.

We stayed while sight seeing in the area. Having arrived at 8pm after a very hot journey (air con in car not working) we were made to feel very welcome, and shown to our room. Dinner was served until 9pm, and we sat down outside for an extremely enjoyable meal. The food on each of the three nights was of very high standard and interesting, and each night we had the 22 Euro Plat du Jour. We were aware that the hotel worked hard to help families and in particular provide a meal suitable for their children.

Our room was comfortable, and had free WiFi - though this did seem to reset itelf every few hours.

There is a nice clean swimming pool, with an area of sun chairs.. Being hot, we enjoyed the pool.

Breakfast was a good buffet, including sausages and cooked eggs, and we took this outside each morning. The only downside of eating outside was the French passion for smoking - meals were sometimes affected by smoke, and it would be nice if smoking was banned all together. The rooms, and inside of the hotel were all smoke free.

The area of Arles is worth a visit, but we were glad that we choice this hotel out of the busy town.

Three friends and I stayed at Auberge du Mas de la Feniere during a recent trip to France. We had two twin bedded rooms, which we found to be both charming and comfortable. The location, just outside Arles on the main road that leads into town, proved to be a good base for touring and provided a quiet retreat (with the added refreshment of the swimming pool) after a day of touring. I would definitely stay here again. We did not have a chance to try the restaurant, though the demi pension seemed a good value.

We had an excellent welcome at the Auberge Mas de la Feniere, whose staff was very kind and attentive to us, made us feel comfortable during our stay and gave good advice about Arles and everything we asked about. We chose to have dinner at the hotel in two occasions and it was an excellent choice since their cooking is superb and the service was perfect, everything in a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The actual place is far better than the photos shown so it's a very pleasant surprise when you arrive. The quality-price relation is very good and our room was decorated with taste and very neat everywhere. The sorroundings are very beautiful and you feel in the countryside, yet very close to reasonably sized villages. Once again, a 10+ for the people at Mas de la Feniere.
