A lovely experience. Next to church but with separate entrance. Cheap to visit. The cloisters complement well a visit to the church.

The church, built in the 11th-12th centuries on the site of an earlier church, is a great example of Romanesque architecture. The church is named after one of the earliest bishops of Earl. Along with other Roman structures in the Earl, the church entered the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The interior of the church is less impressive than the outside, but if you are already here, you can take a moment to look inside the church.

This beautiful monument is hard to find, but worthwhile once you're there. Gorgeous and tranquil, it is a place to spend some quiet time contemplating times past.

Next to the church, my wife and I made this part of tour of Arles with our Liberty Pass. We found this sight only somewhat interesting. The monastery has some history but we just did not find it very gripping. Good to visit but unremarkable.

The cloister is a very interesting location, and in superb repair. The videos (in French, subtitled in English) will explain much about the cloisters and will make the sculptures in the walk make sense. Buy the tickets which enable entry into the arena, the theater, and the cloister as a package, and you will save money.
