“Worth a visit but not much to see”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

The roman amphitheatre is largely intact so a visit allows you to get a good feel for these places that the roman's built all over their empire to impress the locals. However, access is mainly limited to the arena and seating.

Its still in use today for events and it would be good to go for one of these to get a link back to the past.

“worth seeing”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

no audio tour (or at least we didnt see it advertised) but a beautiful old building with pretty spectacular views that for just 6.50 euros per adult you'd be a philistine not to go see...

“Interesting Roman Architecture”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Amazing place and still in use today. Definitely worth a visit to see how well the Romans constructed their amphitheatres. The acoustics are amazing as we were lucky enough to see a music production there.

“in use”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

In use for modern events, not that much to see. I would think an even there would be nice but modern seating covers the place as far as viewing.

“Amazing”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Had a wonderful day wandering around Arles, and had a trip round on the tourist trolley. It is amazing to see the roman remains in Arles, though it has been renovated somewhat.
