Our room was clean, plain and a reasonable size, with an excellent bathroom with good shower and plenty of shampoo and gel from a dispenser, and reasonable value for 129 euros per night. Parking is in a public garage 10 minutes walk away for 8 euros for 24 hours. Free very good free wifi.
Breakfast in the courtyard was very good for 12 euros per person, including eggs to boil, fruit salad, plentiful croissants, bread, excellent jam, good choice of expensive teas and unlimited coffee (from a machine).
The hotel has a café which provides 24 hour service, including decent wine for 4 euros a glass, but the public area was untidy by evening and unfortunately the night manager (helpful in all other ways) was busy packing up laundry bags which were piled up alongside where we were sitting trying to enjoy our nightcaps.
A good review on Tripadvisor was solicited when we checked out, and in a follow-up email, and but for this intrusion this might have been a 5 star review.More
