“Holidays in Provence”
Reviewed August 18, 2011

We stayed for 3+2 night in two connecting rooms with our family. Everything was perfect, location for visiting Provence, good rooms, excellent breakfast just to move till afternoon (!), cheap and good enough diner in the hotel when you are tired after a long "walking" day. Swimming pool perfetct to relax before diner. People in Ibis Arles were SO kind and always available to give suggestions and help.

Hotel easy to find on outskirts of main town. Long walk into town should you want to eat & drink in town without driving. Okay if you look upon it as an overnight stay. Menu very limited and food mediocre.

Unexpectable lovely place with many opportunities and pretty town near hotel.
Some place to visit. Good dinner and swimming pool.
After Marselle we were pretty surprised and had good impressions.
Maybe weather was good, maybe it was a pretty present from France, but we're satisfyed.

Good: Helpful and friendly staff on front desk and in restaurant, comfy mattress, clean bathroom, fresh towels and sheets each day, basic t.v. channels, 24 hour snacks available (though very expensive for what you get), air con keeps room very nice and cool but makes more noise than a fan, bedside lighting and main light in room, good tourist information and no one else at the swimming pool!

Bad: Small, dingy rooms with old fashioned decor, noisy aircon and chambermaids when you want a siesta, cold swimming pool, overpriced cake-centric breakfast, "free" wifi lasts about 1.5 hours before you reach the 24 hour download limit, empty vending machines, hotel on an isolated industrial estate that does not feel safe to walk to alone at night, no mosquito nets on windows so not possible to get fresh air, no nice additional touches like the other cheap chain hotels have, such as a kettle/iron in the room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool for more sunlight

Same (good) quality as always and to expected for his category. Very friendly personnel.
Rooms are clean and tidy. Temperature inside the room despite the "canicule" was pleasant. Garden en pool needs a facelift.
