Sis and I chose this place based on the photos. I love anything vintage and Mia Casa did not disappoint. Delphine owns this B&B and she was a great host! Love her choice of furniture and furnishing. When we arrived, she had the map of Arles ready and pointed us to places of interests and where to eat. Breakfast was a simple affair, the usual croissants, juice and coffee. You can have it on the ground floor (that's where Delphine stays) or in your room. If you have it in the room, Delphine sends it up with in a cute picnic basket and all.

The only drawbacks were the hard pillows. I noticed too that pillows in France seems smaller in size? Is this just me? Also the 'open' shower space concept meant no glass door/partition/curtain so water will splash everywhere. Drainage was not too good either. The shower area floods easily so showering was not fun for me. I think this is the only part that needs to be improved.

We stayed two nights at Mia Casa and we liked it! Delphine was really nice and sat down with us to explain the city and things we could do.

The best part: the breakfast delivered to your room in the cutest basket! This is extremely convenient and complete. The basket had coffee, milk, baguette, butter, jam, croissant and juice. This is a typical European breakfast (actually even more complete) so it's hard to understand some of the complaints from other reviewers.

Yes, the rooms are old, but IT'S A MEDIEVAL TOWN!! Of course the buildings are very old and that's kind of the point!

This is a low-cost option and is quite comfortable for the price. Don't stay here if you need 24/7 concierge, HD TV, elevators and modern amenities. Stay here if you want an authentic experience, with breakfast in your room and if you don't mind basic furnishings.

I've stayed at Mia Casa twice over the last two years and will be going for a third visit to take advantage of the Provence climate in September and all that the region has to offer. Mia Casa is a privately run B&B which has all the convenience of a hotel with the added charm of also being a period provence home. The rooms are individual and spacious and are well maintained and clean. Breakfast can be provided to your door and a fridge in the room enables you to keep refreshments as required.

Arles is a beautiful and cultured town with a relaxed atmosphere and staying at Mia Casa allowed me to explore the many areas of interest in the region by efficient and affordable public transport. Highly recommended.

Although Delphine was a kind, sweet, and helpful young woman, she was the only "nice" aspect of this B&B. We had the misfortune of staying in "the suite apartment" but we would describe it more as a few unused rooms in a building which had once been the the storage space of some old, discarded furniture, but at the last minute had all been turned into a make-shift B&B accommodation.....way over priced for a substandard hostel-like apartment.
Some of the electical outlets were hanging out of the walls and exposing the electrical wires, the crammed bathroom was built into the closet of one of the rooms, the toilet didn't work properly, and overall it just had a very unclean and unkept smell and feel to it. The noise heard from the room above was also quite disruptive into the late hours of the night.
We stayed at many B&B's throughout our extended stay in France and this place was by far the worst in every aspect - and we do not have unreasonably, high expectations at all!
After re-reading other travellers reviews, we shook our heads and questioned "is this the same place?" - our only conclusion was that the good reviews must be a reflection of other rooms at this B&B where some thought and care has been placed into renovating them into suitable guest rooms. Consequently, we cannot recommend this B&B based on our experience - but if you want to chance it, be sure to ask for any guest room BUT the so-called "suite apartment".

Room Tip: As mentioned above, only chance a stay here if you are guaranteed any guest room EXCEPT for the "suite apartment"

We stayed in Mia Casa for two nights during our vacation. The room was very neat and clean with tons of space to spread out and make yourself at home for a few days. Delphine was a super host who gave us tons of great information regarding what we should go see and do and where to eat/hang out away from the more touristy areas. Each morning we had a basket with fresh croissants, jam, orange juice, and a warm baguette as well as tea/coffee waiting right outside of our door which made for a great start to each day. Arles, itself, is a great town and a great stay for daytrips into the Luberon and surrounding hills, and if you're going to stay in Arles, do yourself a favor and try Mia Casa!
