This is a lovely campsite not far from the town. We are travelling in a large motorhome and this is one of the best we have stayed at. It is a peaceful family-run site (for almost 60 years) – no restaurant or bar on site, but a great swimming pool, and a good, very clean toilet/shower/laundry area. Bakery, fresh fruit and vege shop, wine shop and bus stop are all just outside the gate.
It is easy to bus into Aix, and we also transferred to another bus for a day trip to Marseilles.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and English is spoken.
Cezanne’s The Bridge of Trois-sautets (le Pont Des Trois-sautets) was painted just near here, and the bridge can be seen from the campsite.
