A quiet and modestly understated modern restaurant in an ambient style is what greeted us this evening. A pleasant quietly spoken young gent competent in at least 4 languages (French, Italian, English and German, to my knowledge) served us. The menu choices are limited, but how freshly prepared and tasty they are. The season for fleurs de courgette is upon us, so these were a mandatory starter. There was perfect attention to the need for gluten free with careful omission to each course without there being any fuss or great loss of content. Canette & Morels were cooked to perfection, with St. Pierre for my wife being succulent and flavoursome. We both had a delicious red fruit Vacherin with yoghurt ice-cream. As we did not wish to ruin our desserts, we did not finish the fine bottle of Morgon, which was then surreptitiously bagged and corked for our departure.
Unusually spruced toilet facilities (for France) were cleverly hidden behind a panel whose only external feature was a dessert spoon for a handle. Very chic. Undeniably worthy of every accolade. It is not cheap but worthy of the 75€ per head we paid on this special occasion. Many thanks

Great experience ... The host has a extended knowledge of wines especially from Alsace where he is coming from. He is very hospitable and fun to talk to. The decoration is simple but nice and comfortable. The food was great with very simple dishes which highlight the products themselves. We had escargots with chanterelle mushrooms and one egg. This was amazing ! Then turbot very well cooked with artichokes and truffles. Unfortunately the truffles has no taste. It was the only down of the evening.
Finally I had the cheese platter with a great and vast selection of French cheeses. The wine list is quite decent with a good selection at different prices. The check was very fair as our dining experience was definitely worth it. I will come back !

Food was refined and sophisticated. A talented chef. Service was equally sophisticated, and also warm and intimate (the restaurant is run by the chef in the kitchen and the co-owner up front who also waits on the tables). Great wine list and great location in the quieter more genuine part of town. Aix is full of tourist traps. Stay away from those and come to a place like this.

Very pleased. This is one of the better restaurants in Aix - not a city known for good restaurants. Calm, off beaten path and excellent food and wine - fresh, sophisticated and modern. A definite find. Only negative point is there is no outdoor seating.

We went there for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty although there was not much choice and the wine selection (much more diverse) was very good.

All in all a very good choice for anyone who likes a good drink and with very attentive service. The food prices however is a bit on the expensive side so be warned before you go there but it is globally worth it.
