We stayed at this apartment in July 2013. We are a family of 4. Our teenaged kids are 20 & 16.
The only positives about this apartment is that it is in a brilliant location and it is spacious.
Had we not encountered the following issues we would have rated the property a lot higher:
The apartment is located on the second floor. There is no elevator.
When we arrived the owner/manager made no attempt to assist us with our suitcases, although he did assist my wife.
The owner/manager was eager to leave immediately we arrived. Given we arrived late in the afternoon, having spent the whole day travelling by train from Milan, we really did not look at the apartment properly. The apartment was given to us dirty. There were dust balls and the kitchen sink greasy.
We were prepared to put up with this and not complain.
Two days into our stay we noticed that the bathroom/showers were clogging and water was running into the front bedroom which faces the town square. We emailed the owner manager about this, however he failed to respond.
When you book this apartment you are forced to pay the full amount one month before your stay. You have no recourse if things go wrong eg the blocked shower drainage. We were forced each day to mop up the overflow!!!!
We hope the owner/manager takes these comments on board and rectifies these issues for fellow travellers.
