Me and my wife expended 3 days at the Aquabella Hotel. Very well located 5 minutes walk from the city center, rooms are ok and clean although furniture is plenty of scratches (see photo) and in general the lobby area and bar is not well preserved and old too.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights it was perfect in every way. Our room 417 a privelidge room on the 4th floor was spacious, beautifully furnished with a large bathroom and separate toilet. The room had a balcony which had a beautiful view and over looked the roof tops. Staff were very courteous and went our of their way to make our stay perfect, helping with places of interest restaurants and tours. The bar was a very relaxing place to unwind after a day sightseeing, the barman was great always remembering what we drank and talking to us about our day etc. We ate at the restaurant on several occassions for both lunch and dinner, we would highly recommend it the meals were delicious, well presented and served with a perfect french smile. The steamed Dory with parsnip cream is definately the most delicious meal I have ever eaten.
Breakfast was in our room rate and did not dissappoint with an exceptional selection of hot eggs bacon and chipolatas, pastries, breads, yoghurts, fruit and the list goes on. We did not use the day spa facilities or the pool but they did look like a top quality facility and a very relaxed place to unwind and soak up the sun.
The hotel is in a quiet location off the main fair however this was perfect for us as it was only a very short walk to all the shops restaurants and bars. We loved Hotel Aquabella and we would most certainly return.

Room Tip: If you can afford it the priviledge room with a balcony is well worth it. 417 was perfect we had no street noise and slept extremely well

This is a lovely resort but offers very poor service. The staff seemed bothered if you asked questions. The room was nice and quiet, had a room with a garden view. There are several restaurants on property but they keep odd hours, so does the room service. Do visit the pool and outdoor dining area, good food and very lovely.

We had reservations at the spa for several services. Our appts were scheduled from noon-six pm. Unlike the spas in the US, the spa has no food offerings. Not even fruit. So make sure you've eaten before you arrive. We had skipped lunch and were starved by the time we left that evening! AND, while we're speaking of the spa... while the massages and treatments were great, I'm still wondering what they mean by Roman hot springs. There is a hot-tub in a glass room that is only slightly warmer than room temperature, so please don't let that be your determining factor to book at this hotel!

I think there is a better option in the area, certainly for a better price.

This hotel provides a luxurious stay so no problems there. Unfortunately, the girl who checked us in, told us the breakfast times but not about the €15 per person this breakfast costs. In our experience, guests usually are asked whether they wish the breakfast option if there's an extra fee so we assumed it was included and didn't give it any more attention. Resulting in a bummer at the check out with no understanding from the guy who did check us out... A shame after an otherwise good experience.

Room Tip: be aware the breakfast comes with an extra charge and opt for a nice breakfast in town, as we would have done instead

We stayed in Aquabella for 2 nights, in a room "privilege". The balcony had a great view on the city's tiled roofs, it was beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the whole experience was very relaxing.
