Tried brunch on Sunday ('salty' type), it was really delicious, but a bit overpriced. Service was very slow, but friendly.

The location of this restaurant is perfect at a small square in the heart of the old city. But the staff is not efficient, you must have a lot of time. Also the severall dinner suggestions where not available eventhough we were the first to order that evening. Please look for an other restaurant!

We were in Aix for the first time and looking for somewhere to eat. This place looked decent - a bit removed from the herds of tourists. The menu was varied enough to satisfy most people. The wait staff spoke at least French and English. They were terribly busy so the waiters didn't have time for more than what was necessary to do that minute. The portions were fairly large and we went away stuffed but satisfied. They even have drinks that only American tourists would want, like iced/sweet tea. I didn't think they would, but my mother wanted some and asked, and it tasted just like Snapple. Anyway, it wasn't horrible by any means, just ordinary. All the seating is outside, so we were mostly in the sun which was mostly unpleasant due to the tables and utensils being out in the sun before we arrived.... ouch. Also, don't go here if you're terribly large or you might find their smallish chairs somewhat uncomfortable.

We find this restaurand by walking arround town. It was just perfect, very busy but service was efficient, food excellent (tartare beef..) and wine perfect!
Here is no menu but only blackboard with freshly cooked dishes.
This restaurant is attached with L'Epicerie fine food shop and you just want to buy everything.
Will be back very soon...
