This was a first rate restaurant in every way but standards appear to have slipped in the last 2 years. The staff are as efficient and welcoming as before but the food lacked thought and quality, our starter of baby squid was far too large and over cooked, and the entrecôte steak that my wife had was 80% gristle and mine was about 30% gristle, not good for a top class restaurant in a very popular city. We will not be returning as there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.

On the surface, this restaurant looked like it should be good: contemporary design, many people eating there, good selection of dishes. But it was very disappointing: the wine was warm, the cutlery and crockery didn't seem particularly clean, the bread was hard and inedible, the slices of carrots and cucumbers offered at the beginning were old, and the food in general was fairly ordinary, especially given the price. The staff were clearly rushed and unhappy, although my waitress did seem to be trying. All-in-all, a very disappointing experience.

great spot in Aix, across the Palais de Justice, lunch opens right when the market disappears and makes for a great scene. Knowledgeable staff and simple but good food. I have seen a chef buying the veggies at the market right before service! real cool.

We arrived at the restaurant around 18h30, the terrace was empty and we asked for a nice table. We unfortunately got the smallest table.
I ordered the Penne Pistou-Roquefort but I only got a Penne with a strong Pistou taste (with some Parmesan!)
My wife tried the Tartare Classique which was ok.

Took our French friends to this restaurant because it was their favorite. The food was very good. Maybe because they knew what to order. I had the fish of the day that was cooked to perfection. The menu is very diverse so you have many choices.
The location is very nice also.
