One of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in, but since having stayed in other hotels in France, seems to be pretty normal. Lovely bathroom with shower over bath, air conditioning and bed was comfy. Located close to the bus and train stations and a 10 minute walk from the bus which delivers you from the TGV station (approx. 18 km away). Breakfast €9 pp, pretty decent spread. Walking distance to many cafés and other sights. Must try the local specialty Moules et frittes (big pot of mussels served with fries) for around €12.
Friendly English speaking staff, WIFI and free parking a bonus.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the road, or better still, pay the extra and upgrade to a larger room.

This hotel has a Very nice location (though hard to find by car, you have to be very careful with the construction around the rondpoint) and free parking which is a plus. The rooms were very small, I had difficulty fitting a stroller and a suitcase, very basic furniture and breakfast was minimal. However, Staff were very friendly and rooms were quiet. I think it was overpriced.

The hotel is nice, location is great, very close to the centre of Aix. Rooms are clean and confortable. It has a free of charge parking place. It is not worth to have breakfast there, a bit expensive.

Stayed at La Rotonde for two nights. Was a bit wary as we hadn't seen it on previous visits and we picked it for it's free car parking - a huge bonus in Aix - and location. It was great. the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We were booked into a 'superior room' and had asked for a quiet room, which it was. Room wasn't huge but was fine and had a lovely new bathroom (room 214). Also had AC which wasn't good on first night but when we reported it to reception they couldn't have been more helpful. AC is all computer controlled from front desk and you can phone them anytime through the night to get it changed. n second night it was perfect. We didn't have breakfast at hotel which was 9euros but it looked ok.

Although we had GPS in the car we did have trouble finding it - as noted in previous reviews. Front of hotel has a lot of 'greenery' on it and you cant see the hotel name - but it it is very clear at night when all lit up.

Room Tip: ask for quiet room - think it may be noisy at front of hotel as there is a lot of traffic ad buses. Room 214 was excellent.

This hotel is hard find. Coming from the bus station I passed it by several times without noticing. Here is a tip : there a small grocery store at the Avenue des Belges displaying fruit and vegetables outside. If you have a concentrated look next to it is a green pergola : that is the entrance of your hotel. It seems do be part of early seventies derelict appartment block but the hotel itself is clean, cosy and smaller then you might expect seeing the pictures at the hotel website. There seems to be only a one person cleaning crew which may explain the fact that check in time is 2 PM and check out 10 AM ! Once you know your way the hotel has a good location, but it is strangled between the road works at the already complicated bus station and those at the rotonde ( the entrance to the historical city center). I liked the room. You will not have any problems with the railway running next to it since there only a few trains serving the town railway station. If you need to take a train at the Aix TGV station go as late as possible : it is located in the middle of nowhere, it's very crowded without any services provided.
