We had a great experience here. The property is very boutique, the rooms very good. The staff (who are only there part of the day) are very helpful. Its not a full service hotel, its like a high end b&b but with out the owners on premises. The breakfast we delightful in a lovely room. We loved our time here would recommend it without hesitation.

This review is well overdue. My husband & I stayed at this treasure in early April and loved it!
This boutique hotel is truly your home away from home. Alexandrine & Laure are both extremely helpful and charming women. They respect your privacy, are most knowledgeable about Aix from the food to sight seeing and have truly put their hearts into this home. The history of the home is fascinating, the Turkish baths a welcoming indulgence after walking the city all day and the rooms divine. The experience is as if you are French, living in Aix. There is so much to do and see, so we would recommend doing your research and know what you want to see so you don't waste time. Thank you a for a wonderful stay and unforgettable memories!

Stayed for 2 days at the lovely hotel and loved it. Great staff perfect location ! Room was beautiful. Would try to book the suite on top floor if available. Breakfast is included and lovely
Coffee and tea are available all day. The staff can recommend some great restaurants. They have a lovely living room on the second floor which is available for all guests

Room Tip: They are all good rooms. We'd pick suite if available

Simply put, wonderful.
A charming boutique hotel, comfortable beds, center of town, superb hostess', lovely breakfast.
There was a music festival on while we were there, lots of bands in the center just up the road. The noise didn't disturb us at all.
I could not fault this in any way.
Loved it.

Room Tip: All rooms are upstairs. May be an issue for some. No fitness center, not really a kids place.

Our room had 2 beds, perfect for 2 women traveling together, and overlooked a courtyard so it was very quiet. Breakfast was lovely. Alexandrine, the manager, was engaging and very helpful with advice and arrangements. The shower floor was slightly slippery marble, but we accomodated this with a small towel. We recommend it highly.

This hotel is an experience. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to arrive at the hotel at 1 am where the hotel manager was waiting for us. We chose this hotel based on Tripadvisors reviews and I'm so happy we had the chance to get a room.
The staff is wonderful. Informal but attentive. Fun but so professional. We loved the location as the hotel itself. Wonderful rooms, the best ever location in Aix en Provence. We loved to have the nespresso machine available any time, fruits, snacks. It's a unique atmosphere. Every detail that can make you feel special has been though. Loved, loved, loved this place ! Would definitely come back

La maison d'aix is a beautiful 4 storey high "maison provencale". Tastefully decorated, it is located in the quartier mazarin, 50m away from the recknowned place des quatre dauphins. The reception was very personal, and we were delighted by our room. The hotel only was 4 bedrooms, ensuring privacy and quietness. There is a jacuzzi pool and sauna in the basement, and a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. This was probably one of our best hotel to date and only wished we had stayed more than one night. We note however that the rate is a little on the high side. Count 380 euros or over SGD 600 per night....
