La maison d'aix is a beautiful 4 storey high "maison provencale". Tastefully decorated, it is located in the quartier mazarin, 50m away from the recknowned place des quatre dauphins. The reception was very personal, and we were delighted by our room. The hotel only was 4 bedrooms, ensuring privacy and quietness. There is a jacuzzi pool and sauna in the basement, and a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. This was probably one of our best hotel to date and only wished we had stayed more than one night. We note however that the rate is a little on the high side. Count 380 euros or over SGD 600 per night....

This is the ideal place to spend a few days in Aix; Close and walking distance to the ciity center, excellent service and a great breakfast, and very nice rooms. We came here for the second time and were again more than happy with this small Hotel.

We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend this small bed and breakfast. I won't repeat all the other glowing reviews, other than to say this was our favorite stay amongst 5 hotels in France. We had no complaints. We don't always go for the number one trip advisor location in a city, nor do we always appreciate bed and breakfasts. This was an outstanding experience in a truly wonderful location.

The only warning I would provide is that if you can't easily do stairs, this is not the place for you.

My wife and I stayed at La Maison d'Aix for three nights and found the reviews on Trip Advisor very accurate. This is a well appointed and stylish hotel, very well located for exploring Aix. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed, however there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room itself, these were available in the kitchen/reception area down stairs, but we would have preferred them in the room. Alex the manager was exceptionally helpful and was very happy to book restaurants and sight seeing tours. The only slight disappointment was the spa facilities which didn't quite come up to the standard we expected.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of historic Aix en Provence. While access is difficult by car , the staff is exceedingly helpful and accommodating. It is all walk up but you are helped with every bit of luggage. the rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and beautifully appointed . this is the best place, with enormous charm in historic Aix

Room Tip: Ask for second floor rooms if you don't like climbing stairs
