“Indulgence in the centre of Aix en provence”

La maison d'aix is a beautiful 4 storey high "maison provencale". Tastefully decorated, it is located in the quartier mazarin, 50m away from the recknowned place des quatre dauphins. The reception was very personal, and we were delighted by our room. The hotel only was 4 bedrooms, ensuring privacy and quietness. There is a jacuzzi pool and sauna in the basement, and a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. This was probably one of our best hotel to date and only wished we had stayed more than one night. We note however that the rate is a little on the high side. Count 380 euros or over SGD 600 per night....

This is the ideal place to spend a few days in Aix; Close and walking distance to the ciity center, excellent service and a great breakfast, and very nice rooms. We came here for the second time and were again more than happy with this small Hotel.

We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend this small bed and breakfast. I won't repeat all the other glowing reviews, other than to say this was our favorite stay amongst 5 hotels in France. We had no complaints. We don't always go for the number one trip advisor location in a city, nor do we always appreciate bed and breakfasts. This was an outstanding experience in a truly wonderful location.

The only warning I would provide is that if you can't easily do stairs, this is not the place for you.

My wife and I stayed at La Maison d'Aix for three nights and found the reviews on Trip Advisor very accurate. This is a well appointed and stylish hotel, very well located for exploring Aix. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed, however there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room itself, these were available in the kitchen/reception area down stairs, but we would have preferred them in the room. Alex the manager was exceptionally helpful and was very happy to book restaurants and sight seeing tours. The only slight disappointment was the spa facilities which didn't quite come up to the standard we expected.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of historic Aix en Provence. While access is difficult by car , the staff is exceedingly helpful and accommodating. It is all walk up but you are helped with every bit of luggage. the rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and beautifully appointed . this is the best place, with enormous charm in historic Aix

Room Tip: Ask for second floor rooms if you don't like climbing stairs

We are so happy that we found this hotel on Trip Advisor. We had never been to Aix, and relied heavily on Trip Advisor for this recommendation - the reviews and feed back on this website are very accurate. The hotel is so beautiful, with the perfect mix of historical significance, modern convenience and luxury, and the beauty that you expect to see in Provence. The location was perfect, and Laura and Alexandrine were wonderful hosts. A delayed flight and missed connection caused us to arrive in the middle of the night, and Alexandrine waited for us in order to provide a proper welcome - they are very thoughtful. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The entire experience was wonderful and we are sure to return.

Room Tip: The Love Sweet was beautiful - we really enjoyed our time there.

My husband and I had the very good fortune to find Maison d'Aix for our stay in Provence. Located just 2 blocks from the Boulevard and minutes walk from the shopping and restaurants, the accomodations were stylish and comfortable. The help from the staff was invaluable with offers to assist us with everything we could ask. The room decor was modern and really lovely. Access to the motorway was very easy allowing us to tour the wonderful locations in Provence. Absolutely recommended!
