“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

Visited the restaurant on a friends recommendation - a pleasant experience in general. The service and atmosphere were very nice. The starter was very delicious, main course was just OK food. But we enjoyed the evening.

“Super value and delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

We chose this restaurant after wandering through the back streets of Aix checking out the 'formules du midi'. At around 17 euros for 3 courses including a glass of wine - it looked good value and it was! We had aubergine tart followed by fish with a delicious sauce and cafe gourmand for dessert. Service was charming, ambiance relaxed, wine good- what's not to like?

“Nice dinner for two”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Last Saturday Feb 17th 2013, at 8pm many restaurants were full and had waiting lists of 20 min. We strolled through the city and found this one. Of course we were suspicious: why would this one less demanded than the others? The atmosphere is cosy and modern at the same time. A few items on the menu were sold out, which is a sign of fresh cooking. We both opted for Saint-Pierre with Tian de légumes. The Tian was small, but refined, the fish was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The saucer contained a slightly spicy sweet-sour mixture, that we found very well composed. We chose a known white whine (no surprises). Deserts were less surprising but very good (tiramisu and tart Tatin). This was not simple but refined kitchen for a reasonable price in a nice atmosphere. I recommend! (you can go here for business at noon time, with family or as a couple or even solo)

Had a lovely dinner here and cannot fault a thing. Good bottle of wine, great lamb shank, service and overall atmosphere. Go!

“Simple but tasty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

We were looking for somewhere for a not too heavy lunch and liked the look of the menu. We both started with the tomato tarte tatin and followed this with lamb shanks. Both courses were relatively simple but well cooked, tender and tasty. Pleasant, unobtrusive service and a bottle of good local wine. Excellent value.
