The apartment is as charming as it looks in the pictures. It is bright and very airy: although it was July, I enjoyed comfortable nights of sleep throughout my stay. The location in the heart of the old town, yet a few blocks away from the busiest and most touristy spots, could hardly be better. WiFi worked flawlessly.
Yael was extremely responsive (one evening there was a power outage in the entire building, it took literally less than five minutes for the problem to be fixed) and very accommodating to my special requests: an early check-in and a late check-out.
Three minor caveats, though: The pieces of period furniture are past their prime upholstery-wise; I found it difficult to take a shower without partially flooding the bathroom; I could only partially unpack my suitcase because there are only a few hooks in the bedroom and at the entrance (the chest of drawers is inhabited by extra blankets, gadgets, games). Then again, the sofa in the living room was comfortable enough to sit on, floors dry quickly in the South of France and, as a solo traveler, I could just about make do with the hooks provided.
