        Wonderful! Fabulous place & Superb hosts!

        We visited Le Petit Hureau during the first week of September and absolutely loved it! Such a gorgeous unique place with lovely accomodating hosts. Thank you Christian and Sophie! - and to your very friendly dog (Babou?) for her enthusiastic welcome!
        The 15th century building is wonderful and full of character. We felt like we were in our very own miniature castle, and I definitely felt like Rapunzell! The rooms and bathrooms are huge, and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast and dinner was served in the cave which was fantastic.
        Overall, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

        Fabulous French experience

        Excellent location, superb host, fantastic dinner option. Turned out to be our best dinner in France, the building is a 15th century renovation. Breakfast is served in a cave, locally called a troglodyte. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

        Brilliant... a real find in the Loire

        Absolutely wonderful place, very inviting and friendly place to stay with very atmospheric breakfast room in a cave! Were made to feel very welcome and at home. Room spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. Room side terrace was a nice a bonus.
        Lovely restaurant opposite and just within walking distance of Saumur (4km)

        Fantastic

        A really beautiful building full of character in a great setting right on the Loire. Lovely hosts, lovely breakfast on the terrace, had a stone circular staircase and a tower, I felt like Rapunzel! Near a fantastic restaurant - L'amuse bouche. This was one of many places we stayed in the Loire and it was one of the nicest!!
