If you have a room at the back of the hotel, it apparently looks onto a cemetery (something that would never bother us). We had a room on the street side and it was very quiet due to good windows. (The window could have been washed though, it was quite dirty on the outside.) We rarely heard other guests. Location was ok, tram stop almost outside the hotel, easy to get around, though as someone has mentioned, it's not in the centre of Nante, though it's no problem to get there and certainly quieter. Bed ok, quite firm, AC worked well - needed at times (34C most of the time we were there.) We were in a handicapped room and the shower setup is not so good in that the whole bathroom turns into a wet room and there is nothing except your feet to sluice the water toward the drain - potentially very dangerous for a fall as the floor doesn't dry too quickly. Putting a mop or squeegee in the bathroom would help. The cleaner was really good but we must have had a different one on the 4th day - not as much attention to detail and corners. We didn't try the restaurant as breakfast was 11 euro per person - ridiculously expensive for breakfast. (We try to avoid hotel restaurants as they aren't always so good.) There is a Super U market very close so we just bought something to eat for breakfast and supper. There is a kettle and they give you two teabags a day - one peppermint and one Lipton black tea. Reception lent us a corkscrew to open our wine. (What if both people wanted black tea?) There is only one chair in the room, very silly that is. Storage is not great - really cheesy plastic hangers and no door on the closet. TV is French only BUT with the remote in the settings you can usually turn off the French translation if it's a dubbed program, which is a bonus. Very good level of English at reception most of the time.We weren't staying there to spend a lot of time in the hotel so it was all right. Garage parking available if needed.

Room tip: If you don't want a cemetery view, ask for other side. Ask is bathroom handicapped accessible (ie wet room) or if enclosed shower/tub.

Don’t let the name fool you. It’s not in the centre. But that wouldn’t be a problem, except that you don’t find any kind of shops or restaurants in the area, apart from a big supermarket, nearby.
Rooms were clean and adequate, the big issue was the cleaness of the bed linen. They placed a decorative pillow which cover should have been cleaned a dozen clients before. When I removed the duvet from the sheets (I found that hotels in this region always use duvets that are too thick for the climate, forcing you to lower the room temperature, wasting energy, or to remove the duvet), I noticed that it had to blood stains. I placed the duvet on the floor, with the two stains clearly visible. The following night the duvet was placed on my bed... The only member of the staff that seemed to be present, a trainee, solved the situation as better as she could, but this is unacceptable. And I don’t blame the person that cleans the rooms, I blame the management that clearly doesn’t provide a proper hygiene policy.

On an overnight stay had a late meal in the restaurant. The hot buffet on the menu was one of the worst meals I have ever tasted. OK, in this kind of stopover hotel you expect to get served industrial food but when it gives the impression of having been reheated for a week it is really not appetising. In the morning for breakfast I imagined all would be pretty standard, after waiting 10min for some fresh scrambled eggs the were served cold!
Apart from avoiding the restaurant, the hôtel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are welcoming. I would advise the manager to take a closer look into what is happening in the restaurant. Maybe "a la carte" food instead of a buffet that goes to waste or gets re-served for a week is an idea? I am sure the staff have also got a better idea of how to make the UX better, why not ask them... In any case fellow travelers, for the moment best not go eat there, sleep only.

Clean, comfortable beds. Only 1 pillow and 1 thin towel person. Only French tv stations available. Quiet rooms, parking on site. Good breakfast choices. Evening meal available in hotel was good quality. Reception staff was helpful. All in all value for money, safe area but do not try and enter the city before 10.30am or after 3.00pn, it will be gridlocked.

By central they mean a ten minutes bus drive will get you to the centre, and the stop is right outside the hotel. Free parking in a secure underground parking space and helpful, friendly staff. Rooms are clean and a good standard although they look a little like student accommodations and the bar area is at least more comfortable than several other chains. Breakfast in the morning was terrible if you like hot food; stone cold scrambled eggs, greasy bits of bacon floating around in lukewarm oil, hard sausages - disgusting. The rest of the breakfast was fine and there was a good selection. Good value.
