“Good price and location”
Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

Stayed in this apartment hotel, very simple (but not basic), clean and a good location for a short walk into the vibrant town. Small kitchenette in the room if you wanted to cook but some good restaurants and shops near by. If you going to the hospital or university it's a small walk!

We have used several aparthotels over the last few years, some have been good, some excellent. This one falls into the former category, with a few niggles letting it down.
As with all the reviews I have read the staff cannot be faulted and were pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are quite big, ours was a double room and a double sofa bed, the small kitchenette had everything we needed for our three day stay. A previous occupant had obviously boiled milk in the kettle, however we were given a new one without question. If you want fresh coffee you will need filters for the machine. The room was hot at night but the fan provided did help. One issue which cannot be solved easily was that the bedroom door opened outwards, the sofabed, when down, blocked this so the door had to be left open or the very heavy sofa moved, as it was very hot we left it open. There is easy access to town either a walk of about 15 minutes or 5 minutes on the tram which is about 2 minutes away.
Overall we liked the place for its easy access to town and quiet neighbourhood, may not be quite so quiet during university term time though!

I booked this for a friend but visited to see what it was like. very spacious room, with well stocked mini kitchen area, view on to pleasant gardens which were quiet. It was near student accomodation which may be noisier in term time.
If you needed extra towels, or to have them changed earlier than once a week there was a charge.Reception was unmanned after 21 30 and access was via your key card and a code, which posed a few initial problems for my friend. Some of the reception staff were very helpful, others not so.
Not so convenient for the station, although there is a tram stop 5 mins walk away, and walking into town only took about 15 mins. I can't comment on the breakfast which cost 7 euros.

From the moment we arrived - the welcome and efficiency of the young gentleman receptionist was absolutly superb. Every question we asked was answered enthusiastically and without any hesitiation.
The apartment itself was great too. The fully equipted kitchenette had everything anyone would need to prepare a really good meal, eventhough there wasn't an oven!
Walking into the city centre was perfectly resonable but there are a number of buses and trams stopping really close to the hotel.
We were really pleased that this was our first time in Angers and will definitly be returning!

Room Tip: Be aware the beds are fold away and therefore they arn't really that comfotable. OK for a coupl...

...and one of the best hotel chain hotels I ever stayed in. The room was really nice, spacious, clean and well equipped (with kitchenette). The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. All in all a very good quality-price ratio.

Only downside: The breakfast, which is charged at an extra 7€ could be more varied for an international public (e.g. no cold cuts, eggs). For a French breakfast it was however quite good, with delicious pastries (croissants and pains au chocolat), fruits, yogurts and good quality orange juice. Just the coffee was awful (e.g. not freshly brewed)!

BEWARE: The hotel does not (generally) provide the service of keeping your luggage during your day of arrival or departure!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the upper levels to have a nice view and an extremely calm sleep. Also, a colleagu...

We found the hotel easily and everything was as explained with us arriving before the reception reopened at 17hrs.
Twin room for the kids and a double bed in the living room.
Great little kitchenette ,fridge, microwave and double electric hob suitable for a 3 night stay.
Restaurants, supermarket and delivery services for takeaways all within 3 to 7 mins away.
Super city to visit didn`t get in the car for three whole days while we were there.
good foot route map to follow to find all the interesting places to visit all at very reasonable entry prices many free for under 18s.
