This is our second stay at this hotel en route to our holiday destination and we were as pleased as on our previous stay.

We had to book 2 rooms (29 euro each!) for 2 adults, 3 children and a baby ! Just an overnight stop on the way to the Vendee, just off our route so very little detour.

Very good value. Modern, clean, tidy, neat, compact rooms with everything you need for an overnight stay. Wifi internet access is included. Good buffet breakfast available with 2 free kids per paying adult .

Very easy to find - straight down main road from ring road and near to university.

Several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and a play area next door to entertain younger children.

Secure overnight Parking. Very pleasant helpful staff.

Don't expect glamour, don't expect romance or rustic charm, but the if you're heading up to an early ferry home to Blighty then this place will reward you with a perfectly decent night's sleep.
The hotel is near perfect, if you ignore the crettinous signposting on the way in (the main sign is on the townside of the roundabout you should have turned off at, if you knew to turn off without any sign...). There is multilingual automated check-in next to entrance to the car park which delivers a key card for the hotel and your room. There's a simple but effective breakfast room and some vending machines for late night snacks: if you want a classier room the modern tram system at the university will whisk you into the town square, near to a mass of fine dining.

The hotel was good, very clean and lovely staff. A bathmat would have been good for the bathroom. We opted for breakfast for 4.80 euros and it was simple but filling. It is far from the centre if you are planning to walk around. The tram system is just across the road at the university.

Room Tip: All rooms are okay as the windows are sound proofed for the traffic outside.

Same as double room, but with single bunker bed on top, above parents heads. Clean and equipped with everything, what is necessary. All compact size. No complains wit service. Free WiFi internet. Free parking. We experienced difficulties with two different GPS's, that refused to understand the address. So, the printed map will be helpful.

Easy to locate without too much trouble.
Painfully slow reception check in service. Family were with me, rooms next to each other. Rooms were both spotlessly clean, beds fine, everything works as it should. Free fast wi-fi.
Great value for a night or two stop over.
Breakfast could be better though. Could do with some croissants and yoghurts for breakfast, would be better value than slightly stale baguettes currently on offer.

For evening meals try the pizza restaurant opposite, not too bad either!
