We stayed one night at this hotel, recommended by a family member. Great location 10 mins walk from Les Mans old town which is very pretty. Hotel modern, clean and staff very helpful.

Free car park at the front of the hotel, which was handy, no air con but rooms modern, with every facility required for an over night stay. Very good value for money, hotel had recently been renovated to a very high standard.

Recommend it fully.

Room Tip: Great value hotel, immaculately clean, staff very helpful and great location

Didnt really expect A/C at this price and wasnt disappointed, rooms very hot in summer but probably cosy in winter. Staff were very good and helpful. Room clean and recently refurbished. Thought it might be noisy with wooden floors but no problems at all. Restaurant next door closed for August but many others nearby. Try the Alsatian one on the tram route! Trams into town or 10 minute walk. Have stayed in La Mans many times before but in the Novatel on the outskirts. The old city is much nicer and a wonderful walk through history.
I'd stay here again on price but not in summer. Breakfast plentiful and French don't expect full cooked, you are in France now!

I was a bit worried when i booked this hotel due to some reviews on TA but went ahead anyway. Must say it was a great little hotel for the price.I think it has had a very recent revamp as all the rooms we had were freshly painted (3) and in good order. Free parking was a plus as this is not the norm and that made it good value. Good French breakfast and great service. The owner ( lovely lady) even gave us a round of drinks on the house. It was about 10 mins walk into the town area where all the bars and restaurants can be found as not too much directly around the hotel. Had a great meal there in a restaurant recommended by the owner.

This was a two night business stay. This Hotel is very old, and showing its age, in the middle of the city. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The Hotel has free parking, but when I arrived on my first night there were at least 5 spaces open, and I couldn’t fit in any of them. No one parked between the lines. Cars were left where ever they stopped. The manager helped me get into a tight spot in the back of the Hotel.
Narrow hallways, and tiny rooms. The bathroom is slightly updated, water pressure is good. The bed was semi firm, comfortable, and clean. Carpets were clean also. During my stay there were crews in during the day, steam cleaning the carpeting. There is no AC and you cannot control the heat. I’m used to sleeping without blankets in a very warm room. This room was too warm for me when I went to sleep, and then I woke up cold half way through the night.
The narrow work area was sufficient, with enough electrical outlets for computers, chargers, etc. Flat screen TV with about 35 channels, was entirely in French.
Breakfast was typical European style. Lots of bread, Coffee, a small variety of luncheon meat and cheese. Free internet is wired in each room, and unreliable. It seemed to be off more than on.
Food and shopping is right at the doorstep. There are dozens of restaurants, food venders, and small shops. Everything I needed was within 2 blocks.
The Hotel has its drawbacks, but the rooms are clean. Not bad for a couple of nights.

We stayed at this hotel in late May as part of our vacation in France. The location of the hotel is great! It is a few blocks from the train station and it is also located near a tram stop. The tram will take you to various place in Le Mans. There is a small grocery store about a couple of blocks near the hotel and we shopped there rather than eating at the hotel restaurant. We tried the buffet one morning, but for the price the selection was rather meager (e.g., stale bread, some fruit and cheese).

The rooms were dirty and worn. The walls were stained and could have use a fresh coat of paint. There is no A/C in this hotel but there was cool breeze in the evenings so it wasn't noticeable. There was free wired internet so that was a plus.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They were wonderful and made you feel at home.

Hidden away on the myriad of small streets 5 mins from the station. Make sure you know where you are going and which station exit to take otherwise you might take some time to find the hotel. Room was spacious although furntiure an decor was a little dated. Bathroom was newer and clean. Only a short walk to the old town and the station so perfectly positioned for both business and pleasure! Very good breakfast served early to meet our early start time. Service was good. WiFi access limited to reception and surrounding areas and a little hit or miss giving the staff some headcahces with regular reboots to get it going. Overall nice, comfortable and good service, without being memorable.

Room Tip: Close to reception for WiFi coverage - very quiet road, so no need to worry about traffic noise

All the staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. Central location to the trams and the square and shops and restaurants, very useful location.
