We came by chance to this elegant and cosy tearoom located in Vieux Rouen, which is the oldest and most fascinating area of Rouen, full of half-timbered small houses. The shop window and the door are very nice, decorated with grilles of wrought iron. The interior is tidy, with shelves filled with all kind of delicious food, cakes, chocolates and sweets.
We had an excellent chocolate and a piece of Tarte Tatin (it was 5 PM). The rear garden looked very nice, but unfortunately the weather was rainy. Don't miss this special place in Rouen, either for a stopover lunch or an afternoon tea (there is a wide selection of black and herbal teas)
