Ermitage Bouquet is a little far from the city center. It's a nice walk during the day, but not tempting to scout out a restaurant at night. Our room was large and comfortable with a view of the parking lot. But there was nice art work on the walls and an extra special bathroom. The jazucci tub was a real luxury after a day of driving through round abouts and country roads with no signage. Besides the use of complimentary robe and slippers, there were heated towel bars available. The most challenging part of this hotel is the narrow porte-cochere driveway entrance. One has to be very careful to avoid hitting the sides.
However, our dinner meal from room service was outstanding! Bouillabaisse with a side of mushrooms and lima beans, and the lamb shank with a side of ratatouille were better than the food we had been served in many restaurants. The full buffet breakfast included: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and cooked tomatoes as well as assorted breads, cereal, meats and cheeses. There was also fresh fruit and an espresso machine with unlimited portions. At 14 euros it was an excellent value.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to order tickets to Monet’s Giverny on line through the front officeMore
