Hotel has smallish basic rooms which are clean and comfortable. There is a hairdrier, a telephone in room, free internet access, ensuite shower room and comfortable beds. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard.

I used this hotel for 5 nights as a base for visiting a sick relative in the Clinique De L'Europe hospital which is a 10 minute walk away from the hotel.

There are cafes, shops, cinema etc on the doorstep and it is about a 15 minute walk into town.

The first night i stayed in a second level room at the front of the hotel and was woken at about 5am by the sound of a road cleaner. It wasn't too bad and I did have my window open.

The last 4 nights I was in a third floor room at the back of the hotel. We had a view of a tree which was fine and the room was exactly the same as the one on the second floor.

We booked through the internet and this proved to be cheaper (50-55 euros as opposed to 68 euros a night)

The staff were friendly and helpful, there is a cafe on the ground floor but I didn't see this open at all. there is a drinks machine by the front door providing soft drinks.

Reception is open 24 hours so staff available if you need help at any time.

We arrived there at night and we parked inside the shopping centre that hosts the hotel. at the beginning we were a bit suspicious because of the entrance from the underground parking and the super cheap rate we found. But the room was clean, basic and comfy. and the overall of the hotel was not shabby at hotel. Good for an overnight stop. A bit "far" from the centre but still manageble.

My wife and I had the misfortune to spend one night at this hotel and we found that the rooms were very small and almost totally lacking in amenities. The bathroom was closet sized and the "wardrobe"had very little space. The room was badly lit and because the walls are so thin we were repeatedly woken by the noise from the corridors and other rooms. The door to the room fitted so badly that it had to be slammed in order to close it. The hotel advertises its restaurant and bar in glowing terms but on the night we stayed there when we went down to get a meal at about 7.30 pm we were simply told that the restaurant was closed to individual guests as they had a coach party staying and they were the only people who would be served. A similar reception greeted us when we tried to order a drink at the bar although, reluctantly, we were allowed to buy one drink after protesting. As it was Sunday night there were no restaurants in the immediate locality open. Breakfast was adequate although the bread was stale and the coffee was undrinkable and the ham could not have been cut into smaller pieces.
we had just spent a month travelling around France and this hotel was unquestionably the worst we had stayed in and beyond the reception and restaurant areas the decor was reminiscent of something from 1960s communist East Berlin.

For 27 euro a night for both me and my husband there is very little to complain about. The rooms, although small, were very clean and warm. The small bathroom was also spotless. The staff spoke English very well and were friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was not included in the room, so for an extra 8 euros there was a continental buffet breakfast. Not to everyones taste but we enjoyed it.
Although we were there to visit family and not to sightsee we still managed to do a fair bit. The hotel was not far from the river which had the Rouen Cathedral on the other side, it is ight next to the Centre Commercial shopping centre. So all in all it is very well located.
It is very basic but if you are looking for something a little more upmarket then you'll be expected to pay more than we did. All in all for the money we paid we were pleased with the hotel.

This must be the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in.
It has to be said that there was room for a double bed, but not much more.
The wardrobe, if I can call it that, had a hanging rail no more than 30 cm's (12") long. There was no drawer space, but there were shelves to the side of the hanging rail.
Not really enough for two people.
It was a bit of a squeeze.
The bed was very comfortable!
Breakfast was adequate if limited.

Okay hotel 20 ,minutes walk outside the town centre - which was the only thing to complain about - as shops in the near of the hotel closed early.

I stayed in the Comfort hotel on a class trip to France. We were there for the night of New Years. The rooms were very small but they did have a bathroom which was good. The breakfast was good too. Other than that, the hotel was not so great. The people were not very nice and the room ( especially the bathroom) was not so clean. The wall were very thin so you could hear the people around you and kept you up at night. Granted it was New Years so it was a little loud. The location was hard to find as it is not located on the street so it was dificult to unload.

The city of Rouen was beautiful but the whole time we were there it was raining and snowing and VERY cold which made it very uncomfortable.

Overall i'm not sure if I would stay at the Comfort Hotel again.
