“Interesting architecture”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

This Church caused quite a stir when it was built in the 1970's and I can see why. The architecture is quite a contrast to the old buildings in Rouen but I think it really adds something unique to the town. It is well Worth taking a look at. If you take the tourist train trip from the cathedral you will see it on part of the circuit.

“Very unique and impressive architecture and place of worship”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

I actually attended the Sunday service there so had more than enough time to have a look around. Very very interesting architecture, the inside great, very open and very unique. During the service the sound was great inside, particularly the organ music. The service was very simple, people were warm and welcome.

“Don't be put off by its exterior”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

This church is one of those 'love it or hate it' buildings. I cannot see how they ever got permission to build it. It also cuts what should be an open space into two. However, go inside! The brutal modern architecture is enlivened by old stained glass windows, which are a sheer joy to behold.

A really odd shaped church on the site of the burning of Joan of Arc. Worth going inside to appreciate the stained glass windows and the construction. Very peaceful.

“Stunning small church.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Church built in the modern style with plenty of exposed concrete and wood. Utterly wonderful modern stained glass. This is a true haven of peace buried away in the dense urban mass of central Rouen. Regardless of your own religion this really is a place to visit if in Rouen.
