“Excellent dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I had dinner here last night on a 3 day trip to rouen for our wedding anniversary. We turned up at 730pm and managed to grab a table and had one of the set menus. 3 and a half hours later and we left after a great meal with friendly service. Highlights were oysters, duck and a great cheese board. Well priced for the quality and very homely feel. Highly recòmmended.

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this lovely little restaurant! Simple, delicious , well executed food in a friendly attentive unpretentious setting!! Lots of Passing trade turned away, so take the time to book!

“A must visit in rouen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant was perfect. The high rating is well deserved - I would recommend everyone try this place if they can! The restaurant is pretty, service attentive and well timed, and the food is fantastic. Make sure you arrive hungry because the serves are very generous. I had the 22.50€ menu and chose the salmon crepe, confit duck leg, salad (because I was too full for their generous serves of cheese), and chocolate fondant. Everything was amazing. Mostly french speakers were eating here when I visited, but there was an English speaking waitress if need be.

“Great Traditional Local Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2014

We relied upon our hotel for a recommendation for traditional food. They directed us here. Great choice. Very small, casual bistro type restaurant. We had a four course tasting menu and went with the recommendations of the waiter. The escargot were the best we have ever had. Local cheeses were delicious. Highly recommended.

“Simply terrific!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2014

Recommended by the cruise director of our boat. A quaint, small and wonderful restaurant! We did the prix fixe menu with 3 courses. Each course had so many selections it was hard to chose. The waitress helped us with our selections. They serve local wines and cheese. Following the main course and before the dessert course the waitress brought a large round basket filled with different kinds of cheeses. What a treat. The meal was served at a leisurely pace and was just a wonderful experience.
