Amazing restaurant, for 13 euros you get a truly excellent three course meal. Both starters and desserts are serve yourself from the relatively small but well chosen buffet, rather like selections from a charcuterie and a patisserie. For the main course there were only three options but they were exceptionally well prepared, all using local produce and accompanied by imaginative side dishes. The tournedos was from beef raised for the restaurant and was the most tender and flavoursome I'd ever come across. My wife had pork in a cider and cream sauce which was equally delicious.
Since we only came across it by accident while pottering around the Seine valley it was particularly satisfying. Having to try various ways to communicate with the deaf waiter was confusing at first until we realised that the placemats had sign language and pictures to point at to get across what you wanted to say.
It was so good that we went out of our way to eat there at the end of the holiday, but unfortunately it was full. Should have got there earlier!
