If you're in Le Harve for a few days on business, stay here. Its just up the road from the train station. Only a short walk from "Le Docks" for restaurants and shops, its on the tramline and about a 20min walk to the beach. It is in a fairly run down part if town but excellent restaurants are only a 10min walk away. The staff are lovely, speak English and made me feel welcome. Secure underground parking behind the hotel at a reasonable price.

To be honest, the hotel was actually lovely, very modern with the ipad doing everything and the projector for a TV. The beds were lovely and comfy and the shower with the lighting effects was cool. Maybe for a family or anyone going but a couple it would be a slight issue as the shower is in the actual room, but there is a curtain.
I think what let it down most was the area, we didn't really find much to do in Le Havre.

Such an innovative concept ! You pay only what you need. Meaning, you can choose your options (breakfast / cleaning / TV / sheets change etc...) and you can see the bill fluctuating depending on the options you picked (from the booking on). Then, in the room, the shower is awesome, you can change the light with the tablet. The entire room is connected to the tablet and there's no TV but you have it projected straight on the white wall! Brilliant.
The breakfast was good with all kind of options (French and international).
Great location, by the train station.

The concept of the Nomad hotel is brilliant, there is a lot of focus around being eco friendly and has its quirks too. I cannt fault the cleanliness throughout, it's eithet brand new or has been recently refurbished.

There's lots of techy stuff going on throughout the room including an Android tablet, on which you can control lights, the showers mood lighting, the tv that's projected onto the wall, games, Spotify and other cool stuff. The lamps are touch sensitive and can be moved to various locations without wires, the shower has three postioned jets and the bed has foldaway panels that can be used as supports to sit upright.

For transport the location is pretty good, it's located directly next door to thr train station, has a tram line directly adjacent to the main entrance and is only 10km or so from the motorway.

The immediate area is quite run down, there's no real appeal unless you visit the Docks area which has a cinema, shopping complex and marina/habour to walk around if you fancy.

I wouldn't consider this a destination hotel, more one to consider if you need to cheap stopover if you're travelling - on that note the price I saw online was excluding city tax which was added on at check- in. There is an underground car park for customers which is charged at €9 per night, dont use the barriered car park directly outside the hotel entrance as this cost me €7 for only 2 hours!

Stayed here for one night on the way back to England and it was brilliant. All the staff were so helpful and provided a map of the city and gave recommendations when we asked where was best to eat. The beds are so comfortable and the room was very clean. I especially enjoyed the technological features in the room, such as the tablet which operates the lights, aircon, tv, etc (even if it was a little temperamental) and the light above the shower which could change colour was a great addition. Overall a brilliant hotel, would have been happy to stay for longer.
