I'm quite disappointed of my choice. It was definitely not the best we have experienced in Normandy & Britanny.
The building itself is obviously very old and kept in very old fashioned way. There's no elevator, so we had to bring our suitcases to the top floor(4th or 5th floor, it depends if you count ground floor as 1st or not).
We confirmed before arrival that they had parking spot belonged to the hotel but it turned out to cost as well. Not really friendly place for the people with car and luggage.
The internet connection was so poor that I thought they had temporary trouble with wifi but it was obvious not.
The hotel was otherwise clean but I won't recommended this hotel to others.

Bon voyage

My daughter and I decided to make a road trip to New Orleans and had no idea what we might be in for. We saw good reviews for this hotel so we gave it a try, and we were totally happy with our choice.
It is historic and eclectic and adorable. Not fancy, but nice. It's in a great location, and the staff was great. Super friendly and helpful.
Worth every penny. And totally glad that we didn't default to a chain hotel.

This hotel is located in one of the Auguste Perret blocks, the architect who was contracted to rebuild Le Havre after its destruction near the end of World War II. It is located in the city center; areas to eat and drink, the beach, the espace Oscar Niemeyer, the passenger terminal and the railway stations are all within reach. We felt very welcome by our hosts. There was space to securely store our bicycles over night.

Room 1 has kitsch in spades! A blue & white nautical theme with busy wallpaper & the obligatory set of sailing knots on the wall.

Good points : bed & shower ok, kettle, tea & coffee provided, clean and very quiet (no interior/exterior noise).

On the negative side, only zigzag partitions between bedroom & loo or bathroom. Rather stuffy & felt hot despite window open...
