This hotel has multiple issues:
1. No wireless internet even though it is advertized, it hardly works and definitely no VPN
2. All hotel doors are closed at 9pm so don't come after 9pm! We went out late and were given a code to enter through front doors but the keypad was broken so we had to wait for an hour to be able to get into the hotel. Just horrible.
3. Rooms are tiny and quite worn out.

a very nice little hotel with friendly staff. when we first checked in we got a very small room and asked for a bigger. They gave it to us without questions.

The only problem we saw was with the phone. We used a toll free calling card (to check buisness calls at our own business at home) and made a couple of other toll free calls...............so we thought ......upon check out we were presented with an invoice for 74 plus Euros..... and when we questioned it we were told by the girl working that we had to pay it.... Hubby demanded to speak to the manager whoch he was able to by phone. The Manager very rudely told him to pay the bill...... or they would call the police...... very uncooperative or even willing to discuss it.

This really put a bad taste in our mouth with an otherwise wonderful experience in Le HAvre

Room Tip: be AWARE of long distance charges being out rages............. something like $1.50 per minute for i...

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved our room. We had a superior room which had a lovely bath. It was all spotlessly clean and had a seperate walk in area with a double wardrobe. it wasn't the biggest room but was plenty big enough. The breakfast room was immaculate with a good selection of buffet foods. One member of staff (a young woman who spoke quite good English) was lovely and very helpful.
If you stay and want somewhere local and great to eat there is a little place a few doors down, go out of the hotel and turn left and cross one road and the place has all coloured pictures in the windows. Great food and a great guy who owns it. And very reasonable.

Room Tip: Go for a superior room.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel in a provincial, port city.

Recently renovated, the linens and bathroom fixtures were top-rate. Calm, tasteful decoration. Housekeeping maintains the premises impeccably. Front-desk staff was attentive and efficient.

Visitors should note: rooms are small, even by French standards.

I think you should re-think your stay in this city. If you really have to you can avoid this hotel. Small room, unpleasant staff, not good location.

The hotel has no parking, pay and display on the streets outside. Beware the wardens are very active. Inside the hotel enjoys a tiny reception desk with charming and helpful staff. We are located on the 1st floor, the décor hits you as you enter. It is modern, clean and bright, most attractive. Our bathroom was stunning, bath , shower, very roomy and again decorated in a clean pleasing style. The downside was that all rooms face the road. We stayed on a Saturday night and with no air-conditioning and windows open sleep was governed by the idiots that saw fit to sing on the street below as they wandered home from one or other nightclub. It was 3am when all became silent, maybe air con and closed windows would improve the situation. WiFi is available and breakfast is in keeping with the hotels appearance, it was first class. It is only a five minute walk to the interesting water front or to the town centre. All in all a very well run hotel in a very good location.

Room Tip: Open the windows and be prepared that sleep could be interrupted
