“Stunning scale in concrete”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

The height of the central tower/spire is breathtaking on the inside. It is impressive overall in a modern concrete sort of way and towers above everything else in Le Havre. Worth a visit.

“Great Design”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Saint Joseph's Church (Église Saint Joseph) was built in memorial to the five thousand dead by the Allied (mainly British R.A.F.) "carpet bombing" raids in September 1944, with the town centre completely destroyed; the greatest single French loss of the World War II. The Church with a 107m-high tower that looks like a lighthouse from the sea. The coloured glass windows interior and its building is spectacle and a must to visit in Le Havre.
