Description: SaQuaNa in Honfleur is a starred restaurant in which Delphine and Alexandre Bourdas wished to put what they like, what they learned during their travels and meetings. This place finally expresses their personalities. After long months of renewal, the restaurant opened again in October 2016 in a small building just a step away from the port of Honfleur. Delphine and Alexandre Bourdas wish that the human dimension and the joy of sharing a good meal are at the heart of their restaurant.

“Deserving of its Michelin stars”

The Asian influence brings a unique dimension to the menu, served by friendly, attentive staff. Sa Qua Na presents an extraordinary evening's culinary journey, well deserving of its Michelin stars. Ask for a table by the window when booking.

“A visit to remember. Sublime food”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

We were lucky enough to get a lunch time cancellation for 4. The fixed green or red menu was for all at the table to share. Shellfish at every course threatened to be a game spoiler for us due to allergies etc and we prepared to apologize and leave. The manager assured us not to worry and she would consult with the chef to see if substitutes could be arranged. She returned to tell us that there was no problem and that chef would substitute sole, pollock, chicken, salmon etc where necessary to accommodate us. Unbelievable. This is in contrast to a previous 2 star Michelin restaurant who had informed us in similar circumstances that no substitutions could be made to chef's creations. A miserable pretentious experience.
What followed was one of the most memorable meals we have ever had. Dish after dish followed, many before and between the listed courses, each one outdoing the previous one in delicacy, content and appearance. A delight for the eye, matched by a marriage of tastes and flavors, subtle yet distinctive that were unparalleled. Our dietary requirements were met beyond our expectation with imagination and sublime quality. The "yorkshire pudding" with chives and truffle oil was to die for! The staff were attentive throughout, the wine was appropriately priced with a choice to suit all tastes and budgets.
If you want a 20 euro quick, budget meal in Honfleur, then this is not the place for you. There are plenty around the harbor that will meet your needs. If you want a heavenly gastronomic experience that is very reasonably priced for what it offers and one you will remember always, then do not hesitate, travel from distant lands, and try Sa-Qua-Na. Allow 3 hours for your meal. Book ahead of time and you will not be disappointed. This was an unexpected highlight of our trip. We will definitely go back. You should try it too!

“much sought out because of reviews”
Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

our friends travel a lot and are very trip savvy and complete "foodies" and oenophiles. so we made advance reservations prior to our trip since this place fills up faster than a hot knife through butter. (but what wonderful french butter that is...)

this place is so unusual in its spartan and almost antiseptic atmosphere, compared with the wonderful fishing/maritime atmosphere of Honfleur. i have mixed feelings about the place. the staff was wonderful, the service was fantastic. the food was sublime and beyond the pale. i participated because of our great friends that investigated an over-the-top food experience and it did not disappoint. i just don't think i would do it again, given the time and money.

great food. splendidly presented. superbly attended. very expensive but worth it as a destination dinner.

“NEW WAVE MICHELIN”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

this was such a treat in gorgeous honfleur, steps from our hotel. it was new wave eating, such clean and simple food in the most delicious fashion. I have NEVER had such an amazing dessert before. the service was a little haphazard and stiff to start with but I think it was just a language barrier. anyone visiting Normandy should make a point of eating here
