It's market day and the town is jammed with locals and tourists. Honfleur is a very picturesque town and we deemed it a good place for lunch. We choose the restaurant in an ancient hotel, in the heart of the old town, called Les Maisons de Lea, where we ate a delicious light lunch in a quiet refined setting beneath hand hewn ceiling beams with sun streaming through centuries old glass.
The service was typical of France, polite, quiet and competent. The food light, delicious and perfectly prepared and considering the quality and the setting quite reasonably priced.
