“A well-located, well-appointed, comfortable home.”
Reviewed November 8, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This modern townhouse is well-appointed, comfortable, close to all amenities and has views over the Seine estuary. This was our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much as our first. Honfleur is an extremely picturesque town which offers plenty of friendly restaurants to suit all tastes - would suggest trying those with menus you fancy rather than relying on subjective reviews from one-off visits! We were certainly well-fed and watered! Apart from the historical centre, there is a lovely circular walk to the chapel on the hill which includes two super viewpoints over the estuary and the town respectively. Sally is great to deal with and very efficient. We will certainly be back and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Perfection!”
Reviewed October 11, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Everything about this property in beautiful Honfleur is so efficient. The process for booking via Trip Adviser was so easy and timely and the owners Sally and Harry could not have been more helpful. Comprehensive details and directions to the property were so helpful and on arrival everything was in place. From the moment we arrived we felt so at "home" and the house has everything to make your stay so comfortable. All spotlessly clean, very well equipped and tastefully decorated it made for a perfect stay. We strolled to L'Homme Du Bois restaurant (3 minute walk) first night to celebrate our parents 57th Wedding Anniversary and would recommend. Everything is so conveniently located for a stroll into the Centre or alternatively a drive out to Bayeux, Pegasus Bridge and all the Normandy landing beaches. We were going to eat out more often but having found the Fish Market in Trouville we preferred to spend 2 homely evenings in sampling the excellent local fresh produce. Our parents said that this was one of their best holidays and we too would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.

“Centrally located comfortable property with the bonus of secure parking.”

A very different kind of holiday for us this year, staying in this comfortable centrally located town house just a few steps away from the centre of Honfleur, in a quiet lane overlooking the Seine and Pont du Normandy.

Normally we fly to the south of France, drive around for three weeks and get home feeling exhausted!!

The house is well equipped, light and airy, and adequate for two couples.

There are two separate toilets - though one bathroom with over bath shower, and plenty of comfortable seating. The beds are very comfortable with good quality linen.

The bonus of the property is the secure car parking, as we found we didnt need to use the car very much.

Dealing with the owners, Sally and Harry, was straightforward, and any queries received a quick response. Collecting the keys was simple.

On first looking at this property, it may seem a bit more expensive than others in the town, but there is no extra cleaning charge to be paid (some times a 'rip off;) as its included in the rental charge, so you know where you stand from the outset.

All in all, a great holiday experience, in their loved and special home from home.

Would certainly recommend to anyone.

“Lovely house, perfect location.”
Reviewed September 11, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We enjoyed a lovely two week break in this accommodation. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too good during our stay but as the house was so comfortable it didn't really matter. It is set in a perfect location, just a short stroll from the centre of Honfleur and with a seaview .It is also a great base for visiting the Normandy beaches.

“Perfect location and home from home”
Reviewed June 22, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The townhouse has everything you need and is so perfectly situated for discovering Normandy and strolling round Honfleur wondering which restaurant to go in for a coffee or beer. Would definitely stay there again. Also the garden adds to the appeal. Having a designated parking space within a gated complex is always a plus.

“Modern and close to "old town"”
Reviewed May 22, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Safe modern townhouse, literally up the street from the Old District. Quiet with secured parking. Small patio in the front, below the street if you'd like to have a cocktail outside. House had all necessary amenities.
Please note that the rental does NOT have a WiFi, which makes conducting business or keeping in touch with family much more difficult.
Driving to the rental the first time was frustrating, when u don't know the area, even if u have directions! You have to drive through scores of tourists on a narrow street, but many locals do it. After the first run it's a snap.
The owner was very helpful and prompt regarding its' rental, payment etc.

“Fantastic house, wonderful location.”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at Honfleur. The house was in a wonderful position. The satnav guided us up the Rue Homme de Bois through the tourists. An adventure! Once at the house we settled in and stayed in Honfleur only leaving with the car once. This was to visit the Pegasus Bridge Memorial and the beach at Arromanche.

There is a Carrefour in town to do your shopping and plenty of little shops and restaurants everywhere. Wi-Fi we found free at the Perroquet Verte on St Catherine's Quay and we were able to stay in touch with e mails etc.

We have never had such a relaxing holiday before. The walks that we took every day to see a different part of the town were inspiring with the flowers in the park to the different architecture of the town. We managed both of the markets on the Sunday and the Saturday, and then found that there had been a Bio market on the Wednesday. We visited the museums and the churches and there was not a moment of boredom through the week. We went on the boat trip to see the Pont De Normandie. Fantastic.

We do hope to return to Honfleur and can think of no better place to stay. The parking space that comes with the house is invaluable. The house is positioned so you can watch the ships coming and going from the port.

Thank you Sally.
