“A very nice small museum”

There are some very lovely things to see in this nicely done museum on a quiet side street. The "Femmes de Mer" show when we visited was very good.

“Femmes de Mer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

We bought the package of 4 visits which was good value at 12 euros - as it was 7 for the Musee. It was an excellent exhibition of life for women around Honfleur from the days out on the beach to hard working mussel pickers. No refreshments but there are loads available nearby.

“worth the visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

I really enjoyed the seaside paintings, the feature collection at the time was women of the sea. It is centrally located just up from the harbour. The ceilings are high and the museum does not feel cramped. The is no religious are which is a nice change

“Well done!”

This is a well laid out museum featuring most of Boudin's art work along with other fine French artists. Well worth the entrance fee.

“Nice”

Pre-impressionist works ---really nice art exhibit. We saw an exhibition of maritime ladies, from mermaids to women working in the local seafood industry in the late19th century... Highly recommend
