The owner of this Hotel is a collector! Things from all over the world adorn the main rooms although not in ones own accommodation . Stuff just everywhere but not in an overpowering way- just fascinating.
We had a suite which was spacious and comfortable plus very clean.
The pool area was well looked after and spotless.
Location excellent- short walk to the harbour.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel is a real gem. It is only 5 minutes from the old port and excellent restaurants. The rooms are large and cool, the pool is excellent and there is ample free parking. the building is decorated and furnished as it would have been 100 years ago but beautifully looked after. Don't be concerned that it is only a 3 star officially, it's a 5 star experience.

This hotel felt like a trip back in time, and that special quality is what made it a standout for our family. Very personalized service, and a decor that was just the opposite of an institutional or chain hotel -- antiques and lots of them, paintings, fresh flowers everywhere. We had two rooms in the main building, each very different and each decorated much in keeping with the rest of the hotel: furnishings and finishes were traditional, unique, and had the feel of having been chosen carefully over time. Our rooms were spacious and bright (though with smaller bathrooms) and had pitched ceilings. Breakfast was fine though perhaps a bit highly priced for the offerings, and we weren't entirely clear what was or wasn't included in that price so it might be worth asking to avoid any surprises. The staff was small but highly efficient and eager to be helpful, and upon checkout we met the proprietor who gave us personal attention as well. The location was very convenient to the lovely town and a number of good restaurants. We chose Honfleur as a base for exploring the region and were quite happy with our location. Giverny, Bayeux and the D-Day beaches all within an hour to 90 minutes by car. The hotel's on-site parking was a definite plus, and it was fun to come back after a long day exploring, park right in front of the hotel, and then take a short walk to dinner, the harbor, etc.

3 of us stayed here as part of a road trip, in a group of sports cars the hotel wasn’t the easiest to get in and out of, small narrow streets all lead up to it, but the staff were great and quickly came out and sorted some secure parking for us. The hotel is effectively a large old house, loads of character, a little lacking in modern day facilities – i.e. a bar to relax in, but staff serve you drinks in the drawing room which some might prefer. We staying on the second floor, the rooms were very spacious, plenty of facilities, a little dated but I think that’s all part of the character of the house, and the big shower was lovely. We had glorious weather so breakfast out on the lawn was a treat, as has been mentioned food choice was a little limited, but not an issue. Honfleur is a lovely town, and this a lovely hotel I would not hesitate to recommend both.

Seemed like large family home converted to rooms/hotel. Quite expensive for what it was. Breakfast very basic - no other meals on site. Room (but musty) and bathroom were adequate. Outdoor pool closed most of the time due to weather. Service a touch over-attentive on arrival. Very good location though. If coming back to Honfleur, would probably try somewhere else
