Lovely hotel with luxuriously appointed bed, huge bathroom, and great location right across the from the church. Be prepared for a potential hike to the room, however, we were up four flights of stairs (some quite narrow) and there is no lift. We found breakfast delicious (we had existed on croissant and pain au chocolat up to this point in our trip) but the price point felt very high for what it was - with no hot option the value just wasn't there. Overall, the hotel just really feels like a perfect fit with the charm of Honfleur itself.

Room Tip: If you are on the square side on market day be prepared for lots of noise as vendors set up, startin...

We stayed here for two nights (Thursday and Friday) in one of the suites overlooking the square (Place Sainte Catherine). We were two friends travelling together and the suite was an excellent and cost effective choice with a bathroom and a shower room (both with WC). One was en suite to the bedroom and the other en suite to the sitting room. The sitting room was well furnished with a very practical sofa which was, in fact, a comfortable single bed. We loved the decor.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel nor did we use the spa.

Everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

The hotel is really central and very well placed for the restaurants and shops.

Parking is a problem but we parked in the large car park near the harbour where we paid on departure with a credit card (so no need to keep putting tickets in the windscreen as with the other major car park). Parking cost €14 per 24 hours.

We loved our room but it was noisy with the windows open at night. It didn't trouble us too much but we could see it being a problem for others especially in the early hours of Saturday morning when the magnificent market is set up for the morning. It is well worth a visit to Honfleur on market day! The wonderful smells reached our bedroom window in no time and we sat and watched the hustle and bustle with interest from the prime viewpoint of our bedroom.

All in all, it was a lovely short stay which we will definitely do again. Thank you, Maison de Lea!

Room Tip: If you want a quieter room ask for one which doesn't overlook Place Sainte Catherine but you wil...

We just had a night here for our second visit to Honfluer and to this hotel. The room was tiny but adequate, the location is excellent and we used the hotel car park a few minutes walk away. Breakfast is a joke of a few meagre offerings served in the small lounge off the reception to be taken by hand into the eating area. At €210 for a night this was totally o.t.t. and they do live off their central location.

Situated anywhere else it would be a €100 hotel. The staff are all quite bland and didn't make us feel in any way especially welcome although we couldn't say they were rude, just indifferent and don't expect any niceties from them.

Honfluer is a lovely little town and well worth a visit but expect to be taken for granted everywhere and treated like a complete tourist. Alot of shops open at 11:00 and they go for lunch at 12:30 for an hour and a half - I wish i had a job like that.

Room Tip: Good luck on this one.

My husband and I spent one night here last Sunday . The hotel is truly gorgeous- outside and in. It is in the most perfect location in Honfleur and our room looked right at the church opposite. We had room number 15, which had Four big windows wrapped round the corner- really light and also gave you a total sense of place the whole time. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean- and a lovely big bed. Only tiny comment for further improvement could be an English speaking channel on the TV, but thats not a big thing.Breakfast was delicious- loads of choices and the breakfast room is relaxing and elegant. The staff could not have been more welcoming- a particular big thank you to Jeremy at reception who was absolutely delightful , friendly and professional- and to Anne who I spoke with on the phone to make our reservation- again- charming and really helpful with advice on room choice (the room was Wonderful- thank you!) We have stayed in several hotels in Honfleur- this is without any doubt the best by a very long way. We would love to return- cannot recommend enough. Sue and Dave, UK

Room Tip: we had room 15- absolutely beautiful!

This hotel is centrally located and just steps from St. Catherine's church. The harbor is just around the corner.

After reading other reviews, I was surprised with how large our room was. It was beautifully decorated and had a big comfortable bed. Open the windows and you can enjoy the church bells. We did not take advantage of the breakfast option.

Negotiating a car in Honfleur is a bit stressful. Other reviewers have noted a parking issue. I think that has since been addressed. We reserved a parking spot, but it was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We parked by the hotel just long enough to drop our bags - the folks at the front desk gave us directions to the parking area and a code to get into the gated parking area.

A wonderful old hotel, very french, in the middle of the market square opposite the Church. Bedrooms 1800 french style, big bathrooms, lots of mirrors, afternoon tea served. Breakfast just enough, to save room for the evening meal. Fifty paces from Le Breard, an exceptional restaurant and many many more to choose from -you need three months stay in Honfleur to visit every good restaurant. Staff at hotel charming, obliging, Beds huge and comfortable. I'll be back!!

Room Tip: choose the room at the front. Not much parking space.

We had two nights here on a recent trip to France. Honfleur is just lovely. A preserved medieval village. The hotel is really well located on the square opposite the Church of St Catherine. Make sure you pop in there for "matins". We were allocated room 26 and ( like the review of room 25), it is a bit disappointing. Smallish and perhaps shouldn't be a "priviledge" room at the higher price. Breakfast is good but quite pricey at 15 euros/head. Lovely fresh fruit and fresh pastries,

Room Tip: Avoid rooms 25 & 26
