A lovely place we go back to every year; the staff is very friendly, efficient and extremely hard working; the food is very reliable and fresh; the assiette of Fruits de Mer as a starter is generous and well worth trying. This is a very cosy, busy, well situated little restaurant which I would recommended to any one visiting Honfleur.

Not easy to find an open restuarent in January, but its easy to see why this place desnt need tourists to survive , we enjoyed the 15.5 euro menus with a huge bowl of pink prawns as a starter and chicken in calvados as a main, not only excellent but the bill was less than our breakfast in Dover!

We found this restaurant near the lovely wooden St. Catherine's church after we had walked out of a nearby restaurant where the waiter was ignoring us. It looked as if there wasn't room for the 6 of us outside but we were shown upstairs to a nicely decorated room which we had to ourselves. A young waitress with little English waited on us and we all had the Euro15 menu. I had a huge bowl of moules which were lovely, then salmon with sorrel sauce. These courses were lovely but as we were late arriving the langue was finished or I would have tried that. The only disappointment was a creme caramel which was much like a supermarket one. However, the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff made up for this and we were able to hear the bells from the church as we dined, and look out over the streets below. We managed with our hopeless French and enjoyed ourselves - and our waitress could not do enough for us.

This is tucked into one of the backed streets and absolutely fantastic! I don t eat red meat or fish and this is one of the few we found that had chicken on the menu! Reasonable price for food and wine and wonderful service. Lovely atmosphere and would recommend without question.

We couldn't find the restaurant we wanted to eat at so we decided at this one. Good Choice! We had the salmon on the fixed price menu. It melted in your mouth. We ate in the small outdoor courtyeard. The service is slow so don't be in a hurry. Enjoy!
