Generally a good hotel - clean room - good breakfast - a bit busy with coach part when we visited - but good value and easy walking distance to the harbour. No restaurant but there must be 80 to 100 within a quarter of a mile (some by the harbour are expensive, others a street or two back offer better value.

Room Tip: It is quieter at the rear overlookng the car park

Honfleur is a really pretty town and this hotel is ideally situated if you wish to get to and fro without too much of a walk. The hotel itself is pretty formulaic and typical of the chain. Very clean and efficiently run although I would say that the Bar/Breakfast area is less appealing than some of the other hotels in the chain. The car park at the back of the hotel looks very secure (Gated and CCTV everywhere) and cost us E10 for a night's stay. It's popular so book in early to avoid disappointment! We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as the attractions of egg & bacon in the sun overlooking the Harbour were just too overwhelming. Wifi was excellent. Overall, a great berth for a 1/2 nighter.

Having stayed here before we were really looking forward to this visit but have to admit to being a little disappointed by this hotel. The service was very good and our breakfast in the room was outstanding - lots to choose from! However the room itself was not large and just seemed a little bit tired. Leaving the window open couldn't disguise the fact that this was a smoking room despite our request for non-smoking. Not so sure we would recommend this hotel anymore - disappointed.

Picked this hotel based on scores and reviews on TA, and was not disappointed. The reviews pretty much picture how it is: great location near the entry point into town, but not more than 7-10 mins walk to the highlight of town, the "Vieux-Bassin" or "old harbor dock".

The check-in at the reception was quick and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, and had free WIFI access in the room. There was no safe in the room (or I did not find it). A plus for the room are the curtains: they really do not allow any light in, also not at the edges (often a problem in many hotels). Our room was just opposite the elevator, but we did not experience any noise from this (other than some people talking loudly, but this is not the fault of the hotel). My wife thought the beds were too hard, but for me they were just fine! All a matter of personal choice.

One minor negative point: the door pump on the room door is quite heavy from about halfway open. For an elderly person or people with some stability problems, this could be a point of concern.

There is a secured parking behind the hotel at 10 euro/night. As this parking can be quite full, it's advisable to book this ahead. We did not, but were lucky.

The breakfast was good (despite some less positive reviews here). Sufficient choice of bread and rolls, a variety of meat and cheese, cornflakes, fruit (both fresh and prepared as fruit salad). Coffee is served but you can also use the expresso machine if you want more. We did not pay extra for the breakfast, as we booked via an internet booking site, where BF was included in price (110/night incl 2x BF). Otherwise it's 14 euro per person.

This is a very good hotel for one or two nights stop. It has its own monitored parking which is secure you pay 10 euros which is worth paying as the parking in Honfleur is an nightmare.
The hotel is very handy for walking down to the harbour and all the places to eat at night or day, if you go at night remember to walk around and see which meal suits you and book because its a very busy place. The hotel was clean and had everthing you want other than a safe. There was tea or coffee in the room and bottled water provided. The breakfast was good you could have cooked or just a typical french breakfast. Our room over looked the road but with triple glazing we heard no traffic. would stay there again.
