We stayed here for two nights rooms are nice.we had a view from the front of the hotel quite nice. Car park is 10 euros a night but its in a safe car park at the back of the hotel. We had a breakfast deal but its not worth 14 euro a person tea and coffee in room free wifi but no safe. The hotel lift is different starts before the doors close! Central local will stay again

We stayed a couple of days in Honfleur at the end of our Brittany holiday as the cheaper (Monday) ferry crossing almost paid for the stop - and we got to eat yet more delicious French food! :-)

Booked late, so picked a mid-market chain hotel, which turned out to be a good decision. Hotel is 5 minutes from the old basin (the very scenic bit), and is comfortable and modern.

Rooms, (a little on the small side) which obviously come as a "pack" (one bed, one table one lamp, etc......) are just getting to the needing a refurb stage, but the view, of the estuary and the Normandy Bridge was excellent. Bed was just OK (new mattresses required), but linen and towels were excellent.

Breakfast was good, with a range of hot food and French goodies. We had prepaid breakfast, but Mercure seems to have an "over 60s eat free" policy, so worth checking - see my Caen Mercure review for details.

Hotel has secure parking - but limited availability. Good idea to contact them in advance.

There are lots of better hotels in Honfleur, but most were booked out in August, and much more expensive. The Mercure is a good mid-range option for a couple of nights.

Room Tip: Ask for Bridge View, rather than "Car Park"

Nice hotel, new rooms, big beds and a car park. What else could you ask for? Staff were very helpful (we were travelling with a baby and were able to wash bottles) and breakfast was great (buffet with lots of different breads, pastries etc).
The car park is very useful in Honfleur in August.

We stayed at the Mercure Honfleur on our way back from a holiday in western France. The hotel is set in a good location approximately 400 yards from the beautiful port oft Honfleur.
I regularly stay in Accor hotels on our travels through France and feel overall the standard of this particular hotel leaves a lot to be desired, from its paper thin walls to the not overly enthusiastic welcome. The cut backs on tea and coffee making facilities in the room ( now paper cups with just two very small cartons of cream) the whole place did not feel as welcoming as previous visits to Mercure hotels.
On the plus side though the bed was delightfully comfortable with heavy draped curtains in the room which kept out the light and ensured a blissful sleep, added to this is a lovely hot shower.
In addition a total of 10 euro is payable for secure parking at the rear of the hotel. You can park for free at the front but it is a bit of a free for all.
We paid £100 for one night including breakfast which is not a bad price but I came away not overly enamoured with the hotel or staff and would not return to this particular hotel.
