Recommended by hotel. Very busy so need to book. Excellent lamb shank and bream : reasonably priced wine list and friendly service. Roaring open fire was a nice setting for romantic evening.

This place was busy and without a reservation we were lucky to get a table mid-week in April. It is a delightful, welcoming, slightly rustic atmosphere with really friendly, helpful service. Very well priced and good food. I didn't enjoy everything I had but that was down to choice rather than quality of food or cooking. We would return.

Superb place for dinner. Sea food excellent especially Moules a la creme. For a main course I would recommend Fillet de canard au poivre. For a sweet they do a great crumble and custard. Not over expensive and excellent value. We always make a point of eating here when we are in Honfleur, which is a place we love.

We passed this restaurant whilst exploring the town and liked the appearance from the outside and the menu, so booked a table for that evening. It was a good job we booked as when we returned at 8.00 pm to dine, the restaurant was full and others were being turned away. There was a nice ambience with the fire burning, spring flowers on the table and friendly, helpful staff.
We both enjoyed our food and the generous portions and it would be on the definite list when we return to Honfleur.

Only a very short walk from our hotel (Maison de Lucie), we gave this restaurant a try on our last night in Honfleur, having been turned away two days earlier as it was full and we had not booked.

Seafood is the order of the day here, with shellfish in abundance. Our starters were the vegetarian tarte de maison and my wife's tomato tartare and goat's cheese. Our mains were a whole grilled dorade and a skate wing, both beautifully cooked. As it was our last night, a tarte tatin with fromage frais followed plus a small Calvados from the selection.

The two guys on front of house duty are very efficient and really make the place tick. The wood fire adds atmosphere (and heat - they happily moved us as we were too close for comfort).

Locals eat there, which is always a good sign.
