This lovely restaurant is located across from the old port. We had a reservation for 4 people on a Sunday evening. We were given a nice corner table. We all had the 30 euro prix fixe menu. My husband and friend had the shrimp and whelks for starters. My husband won't eat escargot so he wouldn't even try the whelks (sea snails, larger than escargot). They were served cold. I love escargot but did not care for the whelks at all. They were quite rubbery. The shrimp were very good, but he had to peel them, which was tedious for one so impatient as he is.
Two of us had the curried fish soup which was good, but not memorable. It was followed by the cod in a creamy citrus sauce. My husband had the pork tenderloin with pureed mint-flavored peas. He said it was very good. For dessert we had the raspberry charlotte and the poached pear in wine sauce. Service was very good.
