“Delightful Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

We were greeted warmly by the "Beatle" styled jacketted staff and given a choice of tables even though we had booked....20 mins later it was full and rightly so.We both ate from the Menu Erik and were well satisfied with flavour, presentation and volume of food.Spoilt ourselves with an excellent bottle of Sancerre and I finished with an 18 year old Calvados.
A great experince the staff were perfect. Hopefully we will return.

“Very good food and service, great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We dropped in here for lunch this week after having stayed away during the last couple of visits as we thought it might be too high-end and pretentious. We were wrong in our assumption and I'm very glad we finally went-we'll be going back again. We sat in the terrasse as it was quite warm but about to rain, and service was excellent. We arrived at 1215 and there was only one other table taken. By 1330 it was almost completely full. Thinking that the 34 Euro menu would be quite modest, we went for; mackerel filets and 6 oysters as starters; veal kidneys with flageolets as main course; cheese; a trilogy of Crete brûlée and apple 3 ways as desert. Two large bottles of water, coffee and petit fours included and the bill came to 88 Euro. Pretty good for a very nice lunch that lasted over 1.5 hours and we were full afterwards. Service wasn't slow and the head waiter explained the dishes very well-as well as recommending the 'ladies'' and 'men's'' cheese! The only slight gripe was that the oysters weren't really particularly well cleaned and there was stray shell in all of them. But, this aside, the lunch was very, very good.

“5 Star Dining Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

Everything was 5 Star from the uniform of the Head Waiter to the presentation of the food. The table setting was simply but tastefully laid out, white linen and beautiful glassware... and the food... just beautiful. Try the pan fried Foie-Gras with jus and mango puree.

“Our favorite dining experience in a month of traveling.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012

We walked in off the street without a reservation, but were seated and served graciously. We went for the full offering - a six course meal with wine pairings and, even at 65 euros each, we felt it was good value. The food was fantastic and the wine well chosen. Most of all, the service was warm and professional and we enjoyed a truly memorable evening.

“Very good food and value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

Located in touristic Honfleur this restaurant provides quality food at a moderate price.
We had the 30 euros menu which included entrees ,main course, cheese plate of high quality and desserts.my wife had excellent oysters and cod plus terriffic sorbets.
My appetizer included great marinated mackerels.
Good wine list and swift service also helped.
Only drawback might be the relatively cramped setting and an inconsiderate dog in a bag at a neighbouring table tha yapped consistently.
