“A good Quayside restaurant”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

We did not follow advice on Tripadvisor to find a restaurant away from the quays. We sat right on the quayside and enjoyed the view, the well-cooked and presented seafood, the good service and the ambience. Even the tremendous downpour did not detract from the evening's enjoyment.

“Nice location, satisfactory food.”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

We chose this restaurant for its view. It sits mid-way down the St. Catherine's side of the old harbor. On a pretty day, you perch right at harbor-side and really get to take it all in. One of my kids had fish in a butter/lemon sauce, and he was very happy. My other kids had entrecote (a cut of steak) in sauce poivre vert. It was good, but I do find that this cut of steak tends to be very fatty (at every restaurant). Anyway, food was "good enough," not great, but site made this worthwhile.

“Good food in a maritime festive setting”
Reviewed June 24, 2012

We were unable to get reservations at our first two choices because of the large crowds attending the maritime festival in town. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed!

The inner quay is lined with boats and and picturesque old buildings that house a series of bars, restaurants and shops all catering to the tourist trade. It is pedestrian only so that the patio seating is particularly pleasant and entertaining. Service was a bit slow but not unexpected given the busy weekend.

We were fortunate to get a table for our group of 10 adjacent to the breakwater. seafood is featured, and is fresh, however there is a full selection on the menu. everyone found the meal to be first class and tasty. Price was quite reasonable at 65 euro per couple including wine or the local specialty apple cider

“Tasty seafood, mediocre service”
Reviewed November 13, 2010

This cute restaurant is located right on the old harbor in Honfleur. We chose it because it was bustling while many other restaurants were empty. We ordered the 3-course menu, including local oysters, a fish main course, and dessert. There was some confusion with the server though because he said we didn't order dessert. Service in general was slow and unresponsive (and not in the usual French style of leaving the customer alone). However, the food was well made and the ambience and location are excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.
