I love Spruce Woods, they have one of a kind sand dunes and forest all in one. The camping is nice they have all the amenities and they are near to the camping spots. (they flooded last year and there was damage to the lower camping) So most of the camping spots now used to be group camping. But aslong as you hunt for a spot (The staff was very friendly to go let us find a spot and come back to book it) it works out great! The sand dunes here are a site to see and the hiking is so nice. But watch out for the poision Ivy it is everywhere here in the bush.
The only problem I had was that the lake was a long walk away from the campground it would be better if we had brought bikes or if you just drove over. We made the mistake of walking and it was too long for a nice stroll after dinner. Otherwise we had a wonderful time! I would do it again!
