We were booked in eventually after the woman broke off her conversation with other staff.
The hotel has a large car park but if you have luggage it is quite a walk along a gravel path. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. There is a terrace to enjoy a drink on, which is very pleasant, overlooking hills. We ate here, the dinner was reasonably priced and good quality, the breakfast was good too.
Our room was tiny, but we have come to expect this in France. It had a lovely large window. The bathroom was a bit grubby and so small that a big person would have trouble sitting on the loo without banging their knees on the wall.
The location is perfect for a visit to Monet's garden.More
